HDPE
A HDPE (high density polyethylene) casing has a nominal weight of at least 935 kg/m³ according to EN 253. Casing made of this material is 100 % resistant to moisture and withstands more intense mechanical stress. The inner side of the pipe is roughened along its entire length - e.g. with a corona. The thermal conductivity is 0.43 W/m.
