Service pipes

The basic design typically utilizes steel pipes corresponding to the following standards:

  • ČSN 425710 threaded steel pipes, common
  • ČSN 425715 seamless hot-rolled
  • ČSN 426714, DIN 2393 welded with increased precision
  • ČSN 426710 seamless precision cold-formed
Steel quality is 11353.1, modifiable at customer request. Minimum wall thickness of the steel pipe is prescribed by EN 253 but may vary depending on the specific project.

Basic dimensions of heat distribution piping systems used:

400  406,4  6,3
450  457,0  6,3
500  508,0  6,3
600  610,0  7,1

Surface quality requirements:

Before it is filled with foam, the pipe surface must be cleaned so that it is free of impurities such as rust, grease, dust, paint, moisture, and other contaminants. Before cleaning, the surface of the pipe shall conform to corrosion grades A, B, or C according to ISO 8501-1, and deep-set localized corrosion must not be present.

Furthermore, pipes made of other materials can be used as service pipes depending on the purpose and requirements:

    • condensate - anticorro, steel pipe, epoxy-fibreglass, polypropylene, ...
    • heating water - polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy glass laminate, copper
    • hot supply water - epoxy glass laminate, polypropylene type 3
